Treating loose skin after pregnancy using EMTONE. What does the science say?

What Does the Science Say? 

To demonstrate the power of the BTL brand and the power of EMTONE, we have summarised some studies that demonstrate the impact of the device on loose belly skin typically resulting from childbirth.

Loose belly skin in women with a post-vaginal delivery using EMTONE

By Klaus Fritz et al. accepted on the 13th of July 2018.

Method

• 46 women 6-36 months after vaginal delivery with significant loose belly skin.
• 23 received 4 EMTONE treatments and 23 received no treatments to test the difference in results.
• Results were measured 3 months after the last treatment.

EMTONE Results

• Belly circumference decreased by 1.43cm on average. The best results saw a 4cm reduction.
• Skin elasticity improved in 90.9% of patients. The average improvement in elasticity was 38%.
• 90% patient satisfaction rate.
• Patients with severe skin laxity improved more than patients with only mild skin laxity.

Conclusions

• EMTONE can significantly reduce signs of early post-partum skin laxity on the belly!

Belly body contouring using EMTONE and EMSCULPT

Method

• 15 subjects with an average age of 44 received four treatments of EMSCULPT and EMTONE for a total of 8 treatments.
• Subjects had an average BMI of 22.3.
• 7 received treatments to the abdominal region, 8 received treatments to buttocks.

Belly Results

• Waist circumference decreased by 4.1cm and were sustained for 3 months without decline.
• Before and After shots showed significant aesthetic improvement of the treatment areas.

Conclusions

• The consecutive use of EMTONE and EMSCULPT provides considerable improvement of body image and skin appearance in the abdominal and buttocks.
• The effect is mainly due to the remodeling of the connective tissue, muscle growth, and fat reduction, leading to improved body contouring, diminished skin laxity, and cellulite reduction.
• Significantly greater reduction in waist circumference can be achieved by combining EMTONE and EMSCULPT.

The Power of Combining Treatments
