To give you that skin tightening facial, EXILIS uses both radio-frequency and ultrasound to heat the dermis to a comfortable 42 degrees, stimulating the production of collagen and elastic fibres. This has a tightening and lifting effect that improves the contours and definition of the facial structure, as well as a smoothening effect which reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

TREATMENT COURSE & RESULTS
A non-surgical facelift at our Melbourne Bayside clinic requires 4-6 treatments with one treatment per week. The treatment will usually take between 15-30 minutes, depending on the area.
Results will depend on the treated area, but most clients notice improvements after a single session. Each session will practically feel like a mini instant face lift! These results will then continue to improve over a 3-month follow-up period while the body gradually produces new collagen and elastin.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY
Clients will feel a warm heating sensation to the treatment area as the face lifting device is applied to their skin to deliver focused thermal energy. The sensation feels like a soothing hot stone massage and is accompanied by a cooling breeze – courtesy of the device’s smart cooling system. The therapeutic temperature delivered by EXILIS will be monitored throughout the treatment and can be adjusted to clients’ needs.
During your treatment, you can watch Netflix, use your phone, or use this time to wind down and catch up on some much-needed relaxation.

PREPARATION AND AFTERCARE
Hydration is key for a successful non-surgical facelift. It is important to increase water intake the day before, the day of, and the day after treatment. There will be no need for anesthesia as the non-surgical facelift is completely pain free!
Recovery is brief and painless as it is a facelift without operation done. You may experience mild redness in the treated area after the procedure that will subside within 30 minutes – there are no other side effects associated with this treatment.

MAINTENANCE
Just like all anti-aging treatments, maintenance is required. 2 – 4 treatments may be recommended 3 months following your initial treatment course. We also recommend that you take a collagen supplement and use high quality skincare to help support the treatment and your body.Â
